The teachers will guide conversations in English throughout the journey so the participants get to know each other while expressing themselves in English.

In Cercedilla

Various concepts of the theory and practice of mountaineering will be explained in English.

The participants meet with the “Amazonia” monitors who will explain any safety rules in Spanish.

From this moment, students and teachers alike will participate in all the enjoyable activities programmed. The students will express themselves in English with the help of the teachers.

Group activities for both students and teachers in the natural surroundings of Cercedilla.

17:30/18:00
Time for a snack and to begin the journey home.

EXCURSION II

Leave for Atazar Lake in Cervera de Buitrago.

The teachers will guide conversations in English throughout the journey so the participants get to know each other while expressing themselves in English.

Arrival at the Maritime Club where there will be an explanation in English of the concepts and aspects of canoeing.

The participants meet with the “Meridiano Madrid” monitors who will explain safety rules in Spanish.

The students accompanied by their teachers will set off in canoes and explore the lake, enjoying the activity while speaking with each other in English.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

15:30
Students and teachers alike will follow routes along footpaths and hills of the area, while participating in group activities and competitions in English.

17:30/18:00
Time for a snack and to begin the journey home.

EXCURSION III

Leave for Miraflores de la Sierra.

The teachers will guide conversations in English throughout the journey so the participants get to know each other while expressing themselves in English..

After arriving at their destination, the “Laserball Aventura” monitors will explain any  safety rules of the game in Spanish.

The teachers and students will divide into groups preparing strategies and roles for the laserball game.

The game begins. During the activity the students will express themselves entirely in English, guided by the teachers.

Exploring the area, taking part in different group activities encouraging expression and understanding in English.

EXCURSION IV

Leave for Farm-School “La Esgaravita” in Alcalá de Henares.

At this beautiful farm on the banks of the Henares river and at the foot of the Alcalá hills there will be a multi-activity of sports and games such as horse riding, archery etc. and all carried out in English.

“La Esgaravita” monitors will explain the safety rules in Spanish.

14:00 Lunch at “La Esgaravita” restaurant.   15:30 There will be an excursion along the footpaths and canyons of the Alcalá hills, the ideal place for a treasure hunt! The participants will divide into groups planning strategies and roles. The entire activity will be done in English.

17:30/18:00
Time for a snack and to begin the journey home.

19:00
Parents will collect participants from the English Adventure offices on C/ Covarrubias 22 - 2º Derecha, 28010 Madrid

Age groups:
Group I: From 9 to 12 years old.
Group II: From 13 to 17 years old.
